As a leader in Defense AI/ML and data analytics experimentation, IDS is at the forefront of building trust in AI solutions for the Department of Defense. Our work encompasses all stages of AI development, from experimentation and development to integration and data acquisition, ensuring that innovative technologies meet the operational needs of the warfighter.

In our experimentation efforts, we lead the DOD’s Global Information Dominance Experiments for the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO). These initiatives bring together Combatant Commands, interagency stakeholders, and coalition partners, using real-world feedback to assess and advance new technologies.

Our development expertise focuses on mission-critical AI solutions. IDS designs and implements mission threads, while creating advanced large language model (LLM) solutions for tasks such as joint planning, long-range kill chains, and logistics optimization. We identify key use cases to drive the application of AI/ML across diverse defense scenarios.
When it comes to integration, IDS takes a systems-of-systems approach, linking AI/ML and data analytics capabilities to meet mission objectives. We lead efforts to integrate and test these solutions, working in close collaboration with coalition partners to ensure seamless interoperability.

Our data acquisition strategy is designed to fuel AI algorithms with precise, multi-phenomenology data. IDS curates and manages this data through ML Ops, ensuring that AI systems are well-supported throughout their lifecycle and that they perform optimally in mission-critical environments.
